In 1994 started a series of Brazilian
Meetings on Supercritical Fluids. In April 2004 took place the Vth
edition of this conference in Florianópolis. After 10 years of
fruitful meetings, it was decided to extend the scope of the
conference to all Iberoamerican countries, following the
development of the subject in the region. This gave rise to the
First Iberoamerican Conference on Supercritical Fluids - Prosciba
2007.
The purpose of this conference is to promote the exchange between
scientists and professionals working in the field of supercritical
fluid technology, in order to expand and consolidate the
discipline in Iberoamerica.
The I Iberoamerican Conference on Supercritical Fluids was
organized by Argentina, Brazil, Spain and Portugal.
PROSCIBA 2007 was held in Iguassu Falls on April 2007.
